Concept Plans
A concept plan shows the overall idea, the proposed building or development and the potential use of a site. The client gets an idea of the possible use of their space. It will ensure that the project is on the right track and can be used to get a preliminary estimate of cost.
Larger projects always start with a concept plan to clarify the brief, identify the permits that may be required and initiate discussions on construction methods and materials. It can also be used to map out the stages of the development.
It is an important step in the creation of workable plan for the project; it is the process to gaining a clear definition of the building. A good concept plan is critical to creating a good design. It is a starting point for us and the client in understanding their project.
The concept plan may also be required to present a design for Covenant Approval or to present an estimate of costs for Lending Authority approval.
